It wasn’t every day you met someone who didn’t seem to know that she was teasing and tantalizing to someone like me. I chuckled at the thought. I usually hated even to consider what that implied about me. How could something as simple as a coy smile egg me on?
Mine, again, my wolf claimed. I cleared my throat. “I owe you a proper date; I owe you another heartfelt kiss; I owe you a chance at happiness.”
